Middleton Brewing: San Marcos Songwriter Open Mic
A recurring Monday feeder stage in the San Marcos songwriter circuit, connecting informal open-mic participation to more structured listening rooms, songwriter circles and regional stages.
Go Play
Monday, 6–9 PM: Acoustic Singer-Songwriter Open Mic. Current public calendars confirm it recurs weekly. The community post emphasizes bringing material you are working on and networking with fellow musicians. Host identity and exact signup mechanics remain to be verified, so we do not invent them.
Go Hear
A useful Monday listening stop for discovering developing San Marcos-area songwriters and the relationships forming below the ticketed-venue layer.
Performer pathway
Middleton is best understood as a feeder node: Monday open-mic participation can connect naturally toward Cheatham Street Warehouse’s Wednesday original-song circle, Redbird’s Thursday songwriter night, Riley’s live-music and picker ecosystem, and Devil’s Backbone’s Monday songwriter community.
